Capital Area Youth Girls Lacrosse League


Iron Horse:

Iron Horse will be hosting a K-5th grade camp from June 5-6 at Anderson HS. 


We also are looking to run a 5th/6th grade team for this summer.  It would include one night a week of small sided games on the mini goals to work on stickwork, pace of play, and lots of action!  If someone is interested please have them email [email protected] to receive more specific information and get registered.  


St. Andrew's Girls Lacrosse  Camp (Grades 3-8) 

Time 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Location: 31st Street Campus Teacher: St. Andrew’s Upper School Lacrosse Coach, Maeve Flaherty

The Girls Lacrosse Camp features two levels to allow players of all ages and skill levels to develop and learn in a competitive and fun environment. Drills and game-like situations will be among the many facets of this camp. Students will receive top-notch instruction from the St. Andrew's Upper School girls lacrosse coaching staff. This camp has an eight student minimum.

Registration will begin on Tuesday, March 9th for St. Andrew’s families and Thursday, March 11th for the broader community. All registrations must be completed online at www.sasaustin.org/summer. Please be thorough with food allergies, allergens and medical conditions, especially if signing up for a class that involves food and cooking.

Texas Play Hard:

 
TPH Recruiting Camp at Town & Country: June 7-9th 
AM Session: 8:00am-11:30am (grad years 2021-2030)
PM Session: 6:30pm-8:30pm (grad years 2021-2027)
Learn from college coaches! The University of Tampa- Kelly Gallagher, Lee University- Megan Smith, Culver Stockton College- Caitlin Erikson, and Young Harris University- Sam Hurley will lead the camp!
AM sessions are focused on improving individual skills and drills while the PM sessions focus on team concepts and scrimmaging. PM sessions are only open to players in high school and middle school. Players may register for either AM/PM sessions only or both. 
Elementary camp will be led by our local coaches. This is great opportunity for young players to enhance their skills and meet new friends!

T&C Lax Camp at Town & Country:
 July 12-16th
AM Session: 8:00am-11:00am (rising 4th-12th grade)
This camp is specialized to meet the needs for all levels of players (beginners to advanced). Players will receive hands on coaching to improve their individual skills. Beginners will learn the basics of lacrosse, such as: catching, throwing, checking, shooting, and defensive work. Intermediate and advanced players will focus on refining all of these skills and concepts.

July Evening Lax Camp at Westridge Middle School:
 July 19-22nd
PM Sessions: 6:30-8:30pm (rising 4th-12th grade)
This camp is specialized to meet the needs for all levels of players (beginners to advanced). Players will receive hands on coaching to improve their individual skills. Beginners will learn the basics of lacrosse, such as: catching, throwing, checking, shooting, and defensive work. Intermediate and advanced players will focus on refining all of these skills and concepts.
